On Tuesday, July 18, the Collaborative for Effective Prescription Opioid Policies convened a roundtable discussion in Washington, D.C. on barriers to access for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) of opioid use disorder.
CEPOP organized a briefing on Capitol Hill in Washington on July 13 on the topic of “Preventing Diversion of Opioid Medications: Safe Storage and Disposal Strategies.” The event was held from 3 to 4 p.m. in the U.S. Capitol Building. National experts were on hand for a discussion of initiatives to safeguard these medications in the home and other settings.
